Tripartite Agreement among NIIAT - MADI – UVSQ

By order of the Rector of the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI) was created the basic department of the University “Sustainable Urban Transport” at the Scientific and Research Institute of Motor Transport (NIIAT) in 2017 year. It was made within the framework of the international partnership of the UNECE-WHO Transport, Health and Environment Program (THE PEP), this department collaborates with the Université de Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines in Versailles (France).

The first Russian students received this program training in 2019 year in France.

MADI students - Boris Kutyrin, Anastasia Litvinova and Alexander Evdokimov successfully completed their studies in Versailles, France at the institute «Universite de Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines» (http://www.uvsq.fr). As part of their learning, students created the project on the theme “What sustainable transport system for Moscow city of 2030?”. 


Studying in UVSQ was in English language. The group learned such subjects as GIS technology, Business negotiations, Environmental surveys and Sustainable urban systems of European cities.

The University administration organized a tour of the Center for Technology Testing and Integrating (Platform integration tests, PIT) for the students which presents test apparatus for the space and ocean exploration devices. Students also visited the VEDECOM fund, a place for testing unmanned vehicles.


Cooperation with the French side will continue in the 2019-2020 academic year.

NIIAT and MADI invite foreign students to study under the master's program “Sustainable urban transport” during the 2019-2021 school year. Studying is for a fee.
