NIIAT organized the Training conference by the order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation – “Ensuring the General Safety of Motor Vehicles: New Challenges, Problems and Solutions”, as part of the international exhibition on electric transport ElectroTrans: electric mobility, products and technologies for electric transport and subways which took place on 14 May 2019 in the Sokolniki Exhibition Center (Moscow)

The aim of exhibition is offering an effective annual platform for communication of specialists interested in the preservation and development of urban electric transport.

The welcoming speech was addressed to the participants by Alexey Vasilkov, General Director of NIIAT, and Vladimir Lugovovenko, Deputy Director of the State Policy Department for Automobile and Urban Passenger Transport of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.


The conference was moderated Scientific Director of NIIAT Vadim Donchenko. The speakers also included Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Commission on Environmental Policy, Deputy of the Moscow City Duma Zoya Zotova, Head of the Technosphere Safety Department of the Moscow Automobile and Highway State Technical University (MADI), Director of the Research Institute of Energy and Environmental Problems at MADI Yuri Trofimenko, Project Manager of AESOM LLC, Vice-President of the International Association of Urban Electric Transport Enterprises Alexander Frost and the others.

The main aim of the Conference was to discuss the problems of the negative impact of transport on the environment and public health, including the main directions of their solution in the context of technological and informational transformation of transport, as well as the role of urban public transport in solving urban environmental problems and the role of technical innovations environmental safety of automobile and urban passenger transport.

Representatives of federal and regional public authorities, public organizations, Russian industrial and transport enterprises, leading Russian higher education institutions and research institutes and media representatives were invited to participate in the Conference.
