Specialist of NIIAT Alexander Litvinov made a report at the conference “Standardization of approaches in modeling transport demand in the process of urban planning”

The conference “Standardization of Approaches in Modeling Transport Demand in the Urban Planning Process” was held on December 11, 2019, in Moscow, organized by the State Autonomous Institution “NI and PI City Planning of Moscow” with the support of the Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning of Moscow and the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the Moscow city.


The conference was devoted to the practical application of transport models of of Moscow, modern standards for modeling transport demand, practical experience in creating and using transport models of large cities and various aspects of modeling transport demand.
The event was attended by Russian and foreign experts involved in transport modeling in the preparation and implementation of programs for the development of transport systems in major cities.
Head of the NIIAT Research sector "Transport Modeling" Alexander Litvinov made a presentation "Approaches to Modeling the Choice of a Way of Moving in Cities".


The conference was also addressed by Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy in the Field of Automobile and City Passenger Transport of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation Vladimir Lugovenko, Head of Research Department of Transport Infrastructure and Modeling of GAU “Moscow City Research and Development Planning Planning” Leonid Baryshev, Leading Researcher of the Federal Research Center “Informatics and Management” Vladimir Shvetsov, Leading Specialist in High Automation Modeling the vehicles Aimsun SLU, Siemens Martin Hartmann and others.
