Roman Starovoit, the chief of Federal Road Agency, has issued an executive order on the application of ODM 218.2.007-2011 "Methodical recommendations on design of measures to ensure access of persons with disabilities to road facilities", developed by experts of NIIAT.
In order to implement the main provisions of the Federal Law of 27 December 2002 № 184 "On technical regulation" in the road industry and to provide road organizations with methodological recommendations on design of measures to ensure access of persons with disabilities to road facilities:
1. Structural units of the Central Office of the Federal Road Agency, Federal Road Administrations, Administrations of highways, inter-regional Directorates for federal roads construction, territorial road administration authorities are advised to apply ODM 218.2.007-2011 "Methodical recommendations on design of measures to ensure access of persons with disabilities to road facilities" (hereinafter - ODM 218.2.007-2011).
2. The Department of Research and Information Management (V.A. Popov) shall issue ODM 218.2.007-2011 and send it to the units and organizations referred to in paragraph 1 of this order.
3. A.A. Bezverkhov, the deputy chief of Federal Road Agency, shall be in charge of the enforcement of this disposal.
