NIIAT Research Supervisor Vadim Donchenko took part in a meeting of ESCAP experts

The videoconference of experts of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) was held on July 6, 2020. The theme of the meeting was draft analytical document for the upcoming international conference “City and Transport” as part of the ESCAP technical assistance project “Development of Sustainable Urban Transport Systems in Asia-Pacific region in order to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”.
The draft analytical document was initiated by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation with the aim of promoting best practices, domestic technical and technological solutions in terms of developing green, safe, sustainable urban transport, as well as identifying foreign advanced solutions that can be implemented in Russia.
The NIIAT Research Supervisor Vadim Donchenko takes part in the preparation of the analytical document from the Russian side.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Department of State Policy in the field of automobile and urban passenger transport and the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
