On November 20, 2020, the Day of the Transport Worker is celebrated in Russia for the first time.
It was on this day in 1809 that Emperor Alexander I established the first unified state body in the field of transport in our country - the Office of Water and Land Communications, as well as the Corps of Railway Engineers and the institute under him.
