A meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of "NIIAT" was held on November 25

 A meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of "NIIAT" was held on 25 November 2013. Andrey Ruzsky a chief of the department "Traffic Safety" made a report on the subject "Testing and improvement of a model of pollutant emissions from vehicles considering the quality of motor fuels as well as their environmental class".

Eugene Terekhin and Svetlana Ostroukhova, postgraduates from "NIIAT", presented reports on their research activities in the course of writing their dissertations.

A request from the Moscow State Automobile and Road Technical University (MADI) to award Victor Karagodin, doctor of technical sciences, professor, an honorary title "Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation" was approved at fhe meeting.

A review of the leading organization of a dissertation by Martin Grigorian "Methodology for parametric estimation in the process of sustainable management of road transport enterprises," applicant for the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences was also approved.

At the end of the meeting Joseph Spirin, a chief researcher at the "Economics of Transport" Department, spoke about plans related to the international journal " Scientific Bulletin of road transport".
